The answer consistently came back as "I want to make more money" and "I want to spend less time at work." So what is the secret to achieving these goals?
One of my mentors, Gary Keller asked the highest achievers "What was the secret to consistent ongoing success at the highest level?" They responded with 3 things; mindset, attitude and approach to life. With those answers he developed a training called The 6 Personal Perspectives.
This training dives into 6 unique areas that will help you make the transition from business operator to business owner. I know you want more money. I know you want more time. But it won't happen by doing the same thing we have been doing.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years, and you are re-energized, focused and ready to kick off 2024 with a bang. As you are committing to those resolutions and plans for personal and business growth, I have a recommendation that has made more real estate agents millionaires than Microsoft.
I heard on a call the other day that there have been more millionaires made in the Keller Williams ecosystem, following KW models than Microsoft.
If you are looking to take your businesses to a level you have never been like I am, our journey begins by moving from our natural skills and abilities that got us to this point, to a more purposeful approach that is unnatural. An approach that implements proven models and systems. In KW speak this is moving from being Entrepreneurial to being Purposeful, and will help us break through ceilings of achievement, and create more stable businesses.
Models are defined as, “an example for imitation, serving as or capable of serving as a pattern to be imitated.” Implementing the models in this book helped many, including me and my family grow a real estate business that net a million.

THrive in SHIFTING REAL ESTATE MARKET
Josh Jelmberg explains what it will take to have continued success for your real estate business in 2024 as the market shifts.

Whether spending time with agents on my team (that have closed over 300 transactions and $170M in business in 2021), or the 300+ agents in our Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint offices that closed over a billion dollars each of the last three years, it’s clear, to grow, or even maintain the level of business we experienced the last couple years, we are likely going to have to make changes to how we do business. In May, over 60,000 agents had already left the business so far this year, with some estimates showing as many as 200,000 agents leaving the business in 2024. We see times of change as opportunities for growth. Keller Williams agents are involved in approx. 1 out of every 4 transactions nationally. I’m going to touch on three simple things you can focus on right now to help set you up for success in the coming year, and take advantage of the opportunity currently in front of us.
The first and probably most important thing we can do, is get to the truth of the current state of our businesses. Have you embraced that our market has shifted and how you did business in 2020, 2021 and even the beginning of last year is likely going to need to shift with it? Many of us are going to have to re-think, reinvent and restructure our businesses to meet the goals we have for ourselves. At the very least, we all are going to have to increase our efforts significantly. How we choose to deal with change and adversity will dictate those of us who thrive and who do and do not survive our shifting market. We can choose to stay focused on who we want to be, what we want to achieve, and move towards the process and activities to achieve that - or run away from our fears. The fear of the changes needed, the work required, new skills that need to be learned, or maybe just flat out fear of failing.
I encourage you to face this shift head on, take this opportunity to gain clarity on where your mindset and your business is currently. Revisit why you set out in this business to begin with and who you want to become. Gary Keller sums this up well in his book SHIFT, “Purpose is the straightest path to power and the ultimate source of personal strength, strength of conviction and strength to persevere. Spend some time, and get clear on your purpose."

If you're clear on the reality of who you are and where you are currently, you know who you want to be and what you want to achieve, you know the steps you need to take to accomplish your goals and dreams. You now need to find yourself someone that cares about you enough to hold you accountable to those weekly actionable items that will ultimately help you achieve the dreams you have for your life. We all need someone to hold us accountable.
